I was told that the information packs would be sent out at the end of April - was told that when I handed my acceptance form in.

Bromleymum - we were accepted with a score of 221 - we were third on the waiting list.
What a relief Pixiedust1001. Thanks very much for posting about the information packs. I have to say I am not looking forward to all the admin

Perhaps see you at the welcome meeting?

Absolutely :). Where are you coming from, we are based in Orp

Yay, they have made a third round of offers as my daughter has just been offered a place. She is at a music class just now so we are going to surprise her with the offer letter when we pick her up very shortly; she will be over the moon as she was gutted when she heard she hadn't been offered a place first time round.

Happy days...

If you don't mind my asking, what were the marks for the third round offers?

I think it was 45 minutes/80 questions for VR
and 4 10 minutes sections of 20 questions for NVR (30 secs per question).

(2012 exam)

In that case seems like my dd will struggle with time! she gets the answers right but takes sometime... any suggestions on how to improve on timing?

Practice and tuition...get her to do plenty of timed exercises and it will come. Get a tutor if you haven't already and make sure they know this is a priority. My daughter struggled on timing in the run up to the exams but made it in the end.
