St Olave Query - CE (Church of England)
Hi,
I am filling CAF for DS for St Olave and it has section about whether school is voluntairy aided (Roman Catholic / Church of England). I believe SO is volunatiry aided (Church of England). Is this correct?
However we are non christian and I believe it will not affect anything on admission. My understanding that admission is purely based on letter sent by school (likely / possible etc.)
Is it correct?
thanks

It is historically a Christian foundation - like almost all old state schools in Britain
But it is not a church school and you do not need to worry about not being Christian - the demographic there is all faiths and none and no-one is selected by that criterion

Thanks. In CAF - it also has section for "reason to apply for Voluntairy school". I am assuming it can be left blank...correct me if it;s not the case or do we need to fill any specific details...
I will also check with local council what exactly they are after...
however CAF should be standard and same across counties..
comments please.
