Looking for 11+ CEM mock, ideally well before the summer holidays. Have only done DIY prep so far and would be interested to see where the gaps are.

Looked on this website but so far none advertised for 2014 as far as I can see.

Would like to do more than 1 if possible, full papers.

If anyone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction please PM me.

Thank you

We have a series of CEM mock exams, all full papers, and these will commence in April through to September 2014. There will be a choice of papers. Details will be posted here in the next few days http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/mock-e ... exams-2013" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank you, will any of these mocks be in the bexley area or is it likely to be your centre only?

Thanks

Just wondering if anybody has experience of these mocks from 2013 and if they were useful for the real CEM style tests?

Also, when will 2014 dates be announced?

We tried 3-4 different mocks for Olave and CEM format but were truly disappointed. Not useful in terms of contents which are way off the real exams. IMHO, it is waste of money.

One of them did not gave us the question/answer sheet saying it is their company policy. Only a summary report was provided.

Another one (can't name them due to forum rules) was purposely designed to be ridiculously hard so that the children score poor marks, parent get more nervous on preparation and then tuition were offered to fix the weaker areas. Obviously, if the child passes the GS, credit was duly taken by this company. But if the child fails, the excuse is that he/she was already weak...we tried to fix but it did not happen.

The only positives I got was that it gives the children exam like feel, which you can get for free with Kent Council mock. My advice would be that you go there if you've spare 50 or 70 pounds to spend & want some free time on your own while the child spends half day in the exam hall.

I'm sure there are some rubbish ones. No doubt a lot of tutors, exams centres etc.. Are making a lot of money out of the 11+ but there must be some worthwhile ones which is why it is good to ask for experiences of others and do research before buying. I'm looking to identify gaps, as such a detailed report would be worth more than the paper. I can appreciate why centres would not want to release
copies of the paper.

Thank you for your feedback so far. I found it very helpful.
