It appears state funded academies in Bexley are going to offer practice sessions before school?? If this is the case the only DC not getting any 11+ help at school are the council primary schools... :shock:

How can state primaries keep telling us that it is not necessary to tutor or DIY??
Bumpiest playing field ever imo...

Am I missing something?

Yep, council are saying;
///

The Bexley selection tests are an ability test to evaluate the current ability of a child, and to see if they would cope in a grammar school environment.

The London Borough of Bexley does not approve of coaching, and would therefore not agree to offer an assistance in this area.

If a child is coached to pass the 11+ and is awarded a grammar school place, it may mean that the child is not able to cope in a grammar school environment. This may have a negative effect on the child.

Although you can coach you child if you want to, we would strongly advise against it, so that your child's true ability is recorded in their test results.
