St Olave - Sep 2015 Entrance test - one level or two levels?

If they have published the dates on their website, we should probably consider it a confirmation. No details on the format though. Wonder when that will show up.

The dates are now on the St Olave's calendar.

Friday 18th Sept 2015 for stage 1 SET

Friday13th November 2015 for stage 2 exam.


So we will only know pass/fail on the SET before we have to put in the CAF. I think the rate of boys going through to the second stage will be between 3:1 or 4:1. So about 400 boys for 124 places.

Excuse my ignorance.

What is logic? Is it NVR? Are there books that cover this?

My wild guess is that it may not be Maths or English as they are being tested separately.

I presume 'logic' to mean VR and NVR but could it be something else? Wish it wasn't all so secretive!
