Nat Curruculum Levels For 11+

Post by Bexley01 »

Hello - can anyone please advise what the expected curriculum levels at the end of year4/5 are expected to be for someone deemed to able to pass their 11+ ?

I am referring to the KS1/2 scores, ie; 5c, 4b etc just to clarify.

No levels any more, your guess is as good as mine about the current system!

I was referring to the previous scoring system as a rough go-by - ie; 5c, 4b etc.

Difficult to compare directly, but level 5 at end of 5 was good.
What year is your child in? They will not be given a level this year. It seems as though expected for Year 6 is now higher than it was. More 5ish than 4b ish.

The performance indicators in the test framework indicate a standard similar to 4B.

Regarding 11+ readiness, a solid year 6 standard in year 5 is what I look for along with excellent reasoning and analytical skills.
