As part of St. Olave’s PA work, they will be supporting parents who are considering an application for their sons to St. Olave’s Grammar School Year 7 and also their daughters who may be preparing for Year 7 Entry for other selective schools.

They are organising a series of Familiarisation Tests to be held on Saturdays and Sundays in May and June 2016. These will give pupils a realistic experience of a school environment as well as really good practice with what is arguably the hardest test around.

It is an interesting development and someone else posted to the Bromley thread a few weeks ago here: http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 51&t=45590" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All the dates have places available - it would be interesting to know how many have actually booked a session, given how expensive they are. Have they also been advertised much through local primary schools?

I have had some Olaves parents (friends of mine) ask me to share the mock info with people I know. So they are passing this information by word of mouth. I saw the details on facebook and whatsapp groups as well. I suppose they must using every available channel.

It makes sense to have as many children as possible sitting as it becomes more competitive. I would be interested to know, if anyone could shed any light, on how the top 250 scorers in the mock Sutton tests fared in the real exams?
