What material would you best recommend for newstead?

Same answer as further up this thread, the Letts ten minute tests worked well for DD.

I cant find the Letts 10 minute tests for vr and nvr!

Ah! Sorry I gave all my books away and could have sworn these were what we used but as you say they don't seem to exist (embarrassed face!). I know for VR the English books were still helpful and I suppose I must have for them muddled with the General Letts ones that aren't the ten minute ones and the Bond ten minute books. We usually did a couple of ten minute tests and then ten minutes focus on what we knew were weak points - gleaned from doing the tests as well as mocks. So half an hour a day five days a week wasn't too onerous. I did worry that studying for the other tests might distract but I think it actually enhanced what she knew and was able to bring to the test.
