Does anyone know how the exam scores work?
DS took French early and we received his results today, but the grade doesn't seem to make sense. All four parts were an A* but the overall grade is an A.

French (1925) 353 (A)
French: Listening (higher) (2351H) 090 (a*)
French: Reading (higher) (2353H) 090 (a*)
French: Speaking (ext Ass) (higher) (2352H) 087 (a*)
French: Writing (higher) (2354H) 086 (a*)

does look odd moved, as far as I can see the max you can get is 360 UMS and to get an A* you need 320.... unless they have changed things this year???? Here is last years results report - have a look at the "grade boundaries" and the module scores

The GCSE is a bit of a cheat. We lived in France for two years!
