Science OCR B1, B2, B3 (Biology)

Post by nakabar »

Has your DC sat this exams this week and how did they find it? It was my DS's first ever GCSE exam and seemed a bit nervous but thought it went OK in the end. There were many questions with quite a bit to write unlike previous years where only ticks were required.

Has anybody experienced if the exams have things they have not covered in school? It is very worrying?

I dont have experience of this exam but please try not to worry too much. If your DC is taking the exam now that probably means that they will have a chance to resit in the summer if necessary. It will probably all be fine but usually if they take modules during the year they can take them again in the summer if they need to improve their mark.

Thanks KB for the comforting message.

Pleased to say my DS got A's in his first modules Biology and Chemistry. Physics P1,P2 & P3 in the summer. Can somebody tell me how this will bring the end result?
