Does anyone think My Maths is Useless

Has anyone got any views on My Maths for Ed Excel. My children use the textbooks and the online test. Think it is all woolly, and much prefer the more focussed CGP textbook and their MathsBuster. Just never understood the hype about My Maths.

DS used MyMaths in year 8 and 9 and I though it was pretty good as it generated endless variations of questions that a child struggled with, thus providing more practice. That very aspect of it proved frustrating to DS who would rather move on than keep practising the same thing over and over again. Apparently, his current maths teacher doesn't think much of MyMaths and is a strong 'textbook believer', they haven't used any on-line maths resources at all since the beginning of their GCSE course. They are top set in maths and all doing well.
