4th A level -is it too much ?

Thanks for the replies,I think she is probably best dropping Eng lang to concentrate on the other two,I wonder why Lang is seen as a soft A level or a duplication -from what i have seen it is a hard essay subject that covers totally different topics to lit.DD has been studying how chilldren learn to read/speak and how language is used to persuade in newspapers etc.
Maybe since it is a new subject people don't get it -she really wants to do english at uni so maybe she can pick up some language modules at uni depending on the course .
