Been to DC's school open evening for sixth form. Would like some advice on these subjects if they are acceptable by good uni's.

Maths
Ecomonics
psychology/Govenment and politics
Media studies/Music technology

The third and fourth subjects are the one's he is not sure of. Very keen on music tech. Media studies seemed a better choice with economics as it involves a lot of essey writing. If anyone can give some advice on these subject combination would be much appreciated.

totally depends what he wants to do and where he wants to do it - if you are aiming at the very good unis then have a look at the lost here:

Generally the first 3 are the important ones so taking Music Tech as the 4th if its a passion shouldn't be an issue even if it seen as a 'soft' option.

The 3rd to go with Maths and Economics might need more thought - worth thinking about potential University courses and then checking the helpful links above as well as admissions pages for specific University courses.

Worth noting that where it says certain A levels are 'preferred' then its a distinct advantage and can be difficult if you don't have them.
