Bati,
My DS has just gone back to his old school after exactly the same scenario.
He is now really settled and happy and the school were pleased to have him back.
I have sent you a pm.
Good luck!

I have spoken to head of 6th form for his old school. He said its a slim chance they will take him back now as normally they dont take after half term. However its normally children who have moved to college doing a vocational course who want to come back and with my ds already doing A levels they might let him.
The head of 6th form is going to speak to head of school about it. He said the problem will be if the subjects are different exam boards and they have studied different things.
My son has said he does want to go back but he understands it might be impossible now.

My DS was doing different exam boards for all 4 AS levels but is working hard to catch up.
His teachers are giving him extra work to do over Christmas holidays so don't worry about that- it can be done.

Ds spoke to the head of 6th form as well, he told him he was prepared to stay behind every day after school to catch up on what he might have missed.
I just wished he had said something earlier, then it would of been easier to sort out

I have another phone call from his views old school. They have said they will take him back :D
We have got a meeting at 8.30am tomorrow morning to discuss things further as they said they need to know what he has covered to see what he has missed with it being different exam boards.

Ahh, well done, is he visibly happier now?

We all live and learn.

Just be careful he does not get extra worried about new environments now, due yo his bad experience.

Good luck, really happy for you...sleep well tonight.
