Hi
I would like to know which of the following books is best for self-studying Edexcel AS level Biology (the new syllabus)

You haven't listed any books, if you meant to. Do you mean for revision?

You say 'self studying' and if what you mean is that you or your child intend to do this alone, I think you are best off contacting the exam board. You would need to register with an exam centre (school or college) to sit the exam anyway so you could try talking to them about resources.
If you did mean a revision guide, I would wait and see what the school or college provides before buying anything else. DD did A level Biology, though not Edexcel, this summer and didn't need any extra resources over what the school provided.

If you do mean self studying to take the exam you need to think about the controlled assessment part. It is difficult to do this outside of as you need to find an exam centre that will accommodate you. I do know of a couple, but they are expensive!
