weird and dysfunctional
I suppose hanging around on an 11+ forum when my youngest is 15 is probably weird.......

You are very needed Solimum to give insight, experience and advice to all the other weird and dysfunctional members on here. We all need to know our DC will turn out ok in the end! :lol:

Perhaps it is not dysfunctional either. Solimum may be the one exception with a first at uni to whom you refer. There are greater coincidences than this.

I confess! It was me in the beard all along....!

Actually it is true that perhaps a higher proportion than is comfortable of my fellow mathematicians back in the early 80s could be described as weird & dysfunctional, whereas I of course am supremely well-balanced ( a chip on both shoulders perhaps???)
