Well done, everyone's DCs! Glad to hear your news Jemima, after all the angst!
DD managed to clock up some great AS results but still may have to resit a Chemistry module, as one of her papers had an unexpectedly low mark which pulled the whole lot down a grade. We are planning to get it checked and possibly remarked - and if it turns out that she really did have a "bad day" she'll retake it in January. We've learned that not all vet schools have issues with module resits, so all is not lost, hopefully...

If the mark doesn't go up it might be worth taking a tactical view over how the AS info is put on the UCAS application so the Vet schools can see the module marks not just the overall AS grade. I know someone who got a 'C' grade on one AS module & still got an offer for medicine so I'm sure you are right that not all is lost.
