Congrats magwich2.I agree about the luck part and also about the fact that colleges may favour pupils from a school from which they have previously taken pupils who have been successful. I don't think it would mean they had any pririty staus but in a tie it might tip the balance. My DD was given advice to apply to a college where they had taken a pupil from her school the previous year and she did get an offer from this college. Who knows though?
