Tuition Fees

With the election looming, just wondering which party is going to cost me the most, or indeed the least with the potential for having 3 at Uni at once! Any thoughts? (We are England resident
)

Now that we have been reduced to presidential-style TV debates with the suits competing for se xy soundbites and newspaper votes on which one Nicola Sturgeon prefers (hadn't realised it was
Blind Date) then the final nails in the coffin of 'democracy' are being polished. There is no real choice - for most people how they vote will not make a jot of difference to what the career politicians decide do to with the power invested in them.

Like everything else, politics has been reduced to 'Non-extreme Middletown'. At least you knew where you were when left was far left and right was far right. Mind you, I guess it went with some less acceptable stuff too, but its all so homogenous now..........................

There's a big chunk of North Bucks that is effectively disenfranchised as John Bercow is the MP.
By agreement, none of the main parties stand against him ...

can remember as as kid that the local councillors were always unopposed so they never needed to use our school of voting so we never got a day off
Agreed though - not really fair for the people in the speaker's consituency

The Green Party have pledged to get rid of tuition fees and SATs if that helps.

The setup of the debate reminded me of either the weakest link or the awful awful dating programme - not sure what it's called but the man turns out the light if he doesn't fancy the girl. I would like to turn out the light for their politics, though.
We are in one of the safest Tory constituencies, although I suspect a few in Stoke Poges may move over to UKIP after the Khalsa school debacle.
