Re: Alternative exam dates
All,
I noticed this thread about alternative 11plus exam date in Kent/Redbridge so thought to enquire last year conclusion.
The 11plus exam in Kent county for outside catchment area is falling same day (10th Sep) as Redbridge and therefore a number of children will be disadvantaged due to the exam date clash.
Did Kent council provide an alternative exam date for outside of the catchment candidates last year?
If so, please could you share the process?
I have already wrote an email to the Redbridge and Kent councils, awaiting their response.
Appreciate your early response.
Regards,

Re: Alternative exam dates
Hi,
Could you please share whether you got any reply from Kent council on this.
The date are clashing between Kent(outside pupils), Hertfordshire and Berkshire. I think Berkshire can allow alternative dates but not sure about Kent.
Thanks.

Re: Alternative exam dates
As far as I know Berkshire only have the back up date for medical reasons and need proof of illness.

I think it comes down to where you live and can reasonably send the child to school these are the exams you need to concentrate on.
Some of the places mentioned are a huge distance apart
