Hi everybody,

Can somebody tell me whether there is any bus service to KEGS (King Edward VI Grammar School) from Ilford?

Thanks

AMI Coaches provide coaches that pick kids up from: Ilford station, Newbury Park station, Gallows corner and then straight to KEGS.

Have you considered the train? I don't know how the cost compares but KEGS is 5 mins from the train & bus stations.

My daughters are at the girls' grammar we got a letter from the CSSE yesterday about a new route from First from Ilford to KEGS/CCHS. Go to the CCHS website - parents section - letters - whole school- and details are there. :)

It will pick up Cranbrook Road, Gants Hill, various points along Eastern Avenue, last one being Petersfield Road (something like that), then down A12 to KEGS and CCHS - so for the boys and the girls!

Hotman - FYI KEGS & CCHS are located within the same road, albeit on opposite sides, just a few minutes walking distance apart. You may not have noticed CCHS as it is slightly further away from the town centre.
