Hi, I alway said the irrrespective of whether my child passed or failed I would post her results because it would be useful for future parents, because I found it very diffecult to work out if my daughter was achieving highly enough or not. I have just recieved her results and I am very disappointed because she as not passed.

Anyway these are her results.

Non Verbal standardised 106
Verbal raw score 70 out of 90
Verbal standardised score. 106

TOTAL SCORE. 212

Ranked number. 277 overall out of those that took the test for Woodford County High School.

So she will not be going to this school then. She a little upset and am a little upset, but not as much as I thought I would be. She probabily would not have been suited to that school and the head teacher did come across as a bit strict.

New user. I have been following this forum and it has been very useful to ascertain, looking at the results last year, what realistic chances there are and basically, how many errors the child can make for each paper. Hence, I have decided to post my son's result as reference to future parents who shall be going through what we did this year.

Hi first time post.
My daughter has scored 230. From the letter which includes some jargon I understand 225 is needed to secure a Woodford place. She is ranked 123 I know there are only 120 places. Is 230 score plus rank 123 enough any wise words from anybody? wonder what the score for Woodford rank 1 is just out of curiosity. I hope everyone has understood their letters easily. My DD's results were as follows:

NVR Raw score 70/75 Stand score 131

VR raw score 83/90 Stand score 122

Total standardised score 253

Ranked 26 out of 792

(FYI- DD has a November birthday)

Not daring to anticipate such a fantastic result, my DD & I were genuinely happy considering the alternative schools in the area...... lest we forget that Redbridge/Essex have some great schools where our clever children will excel irrespective of a place in a grammar school.
