Direct train Shenfield-Southend Vic then bus, either a 27 to the White Horse (5 minutes-ish walk to school) or a 1 from the interchange outside the station, or follow the herd of girls in green on a short walk to the bus stop at the beginning of Southchurch Road and pick up the 1 or 4(?4a) on its way back up from the travel centre. These buses stop opposite SHSG.

Have a look on the school website for details of discounted rail travel :).
