is it true that to pass CEM, kids needs to score more than 90% / percentile of 85  dd got 70% in her last mock exam. we are in Redbridge and applying for WCHS. have we got any chance or not :( ?

Maybe ask a moderator to move this to the Redbridge section? The qualifying mark will be different in each area.

There is no pass mark for CEM. Each school has a different amount of places on offer and so the mark to secure one of those places will depend on the marks of the other students applying.

Her mock mark may not reflect her performance on the day. The sections in the Redbridge exam may demand different expertise to what was required in her mock.

Nobody can really judge what levels the Redbridge cohort will be performing at until after the exam is over.

Don't be derailed by one mock mark. Keep working steadily towards Saturday. DG
