Hi, I'm looking for a tutor in the Orpington area for my son (in Year 5 currently) to prepare him for St Olaves, Kent and Bexley tests in 2011. Can anyone recommend a tutor? I would prefer one-to-one, but can go for a group tuition as well if nothing suitable is available in the area.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Can anyone please help? I'm slightly desperate since I had arranged 11+ tuition for my son with a lovely, retired tutor beginning next month, however, sadly, she passed away earlier this week due to a heart-attack.

Would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help.

Why don't you speak to year 6 parents in your school who have already gone through the process?

Hi
I am also looking for a tutor specifically for the St Olave's entrance exam, and would be happier usng a recommended tutor rather than plucking one obscurely from the internet. I have tried talking to other parent's, however our sons school are anti tutoring and no one will admit to using one (although I know they do)!
His school is excellent in preparing the children for the Kent 11+, however they have very little knowledge of the St Olave's entrance proceedures and I feel the preparation he will have will be insufficient, especially for the English paper.
Any advice or assistance would be much appreciated, thx.
