My daughter is only 4 but I am aware of how highly sought after tutors are so I want to possibly get her on a waiting list. We are on the Richmond/Kingston border in Ham.

I would be incredibly grateful if any could recommend me a tutor and or pm contact details. Thanks so much.

if anyone can help, please send a PM.

personally I think it is far too early!

enjoy her childhood

If you want to give her a good grounding, lots of word games , count as you lay the table, let her pair up socks from the washing and lay the table ( how many knives do we need....)
Let her help you cook and weigh out flour etc.

Formal tutoring has its place, but learning should be fun.

( I say this as a tutor, teacher and parent)

I think you would probably be wasting your time trying to find a tutor now. Certainly in my area even the most sought after tutors don't hold lists more than three years ahead.

Who knows if there will even be grammar schools and the 11+ in 6 or 7 years time?

Thank you for your replies. Just to clarify, I certainly don't intend to do anything formal with her for years. I really am just putting the feelers out and wanted to contact some tutors to see when I needed to start and what their waiting lists were like. I had heard that now is the time to start making enquiries.
