any idea how I can get qca year 7 papers if I am not a school??

I wondered if maybe they are not available yet as the progress tests seem to be quite new.

Any help much appreciated!

Progress tests are for those who enterd KS3 at level 3 - they check whether the child has 'caught up' to level 4.

The Y7 optional tests are for levels 4 and 5 on entry to KS3 - I don't think a parent can get hold of these.

Thanks, it looks like teh optional tests are what I wanted.

I am tutoring a pupil who is hoping to transfer to grammar school in year 8. Consensus seemed to be that the school would probably use qca type papers. I reckon he is about level 5 so may try some old ks3 sats.

Thank you for your prompt reply
