Hi everyone

I am a teacher by profession. I have tutored KS2 maths and English in the past, mostly for SATS but I'm now thinking about tutoring children for the 11plus. I have spent the past year tutoring my son for his grammar school (VR and NVR mostly) but would like to offer my services for CEM along with English and Maths too.

Is there somewhere where I can see a syllabus or criteria to ensure I am teaching the correct things? I am based in Hounslow, West London so will be focusing on the surrey/berkshire area I guess. I'll be having smallish classes of around 5-8 children per sitting.

In addition to this, any tips from parents would be useful. What are your tutors doing which you like/hate and what have your DC found useful/waste of time.

Your time is appreciated :-)
