Hi

don't know of any and am not at work this week in the patch! When I get back next week I will ask around.

One thing is certain that it helps to live in the catchment - whereabouts are you ? what are your other options? Bowland High is very popular but some of the others are not so sought after :(

Hey thank you for your reply.
We will be lliving in Old Langho.
Will it help to get study books from WH Smith's? If yes which type are best.
Do you know what exam board they use for the entrance exam.
My second choice would be Bowland then Ribblesdale but with Bowland I have heard you have to live in Waddington and they normally have enough kids to fill the places without taking from out of their area.
Thanks for your help.
Jane

Hi

oops bit new to the area and only found out where Langho was the other day when heading off to Reidy's for more noisy musical instruments.

Think it certainly helps to be north of Clitheroe to get into Bowland - I'll check up on the books and tutors names etc

Hi

My son will be taking the Clitheroe Grammar School entrance exam in September, we are based in the centre of Clitheroe.

We are looking for a tutor to help him pass this exam, proven experience will be required.

Have tried google + most common websites none have come up with specific tutors in Clitheroe.

Thanks in advance

Rob

Hi - often people find tutors via word of mouth....

Do you know any parents of kids at the GS? Is it worth asking them who they used (if any)?.
