Hi

I know you cannot recommend a tutor on this forum but maybe able to send a private message. Therefore does anyone have any clues how I can go about finding a good tutor? One with good success rates in order to start preparing my son for the Herts Consortium 11plus Exams. I have read alot on this forum before joining here to help me with this decision or tutor or not as it may be! Although some people seem outright against tutoring I feel I have to help my child in the best way I can to give him the best opportunity. This doesn't mean a grammar education just the best preparation as not all children are naturally bright but that doesnt mean they shouldn't have a good go and give up before even trying. Some of us have to work hard at any success whilst others have a natural ability its not a contest. I wont be applying pressure to my son but just advising him that I am simply trying to help him feel less nervous when the time comes and mor prepared. He is starting Year 5 in September and so I want to give him plenty of time without panic rushes at the end and lots of worry. If we have both done our best surely that is all we can do. Thanks for any information.
