Next Friday, preferably a historical connection. Y7 girl.
Any ideas?? (not too complicated as we have a very busy weekend ahead).
Thank you for your help.

Not necessarily historical but easily recognisable and minimal parental input required ....
Tracy Beaker - joke shop curly wig, jeans, t-shirt and an attitude!
Little Red Riding Hood - 1 1/2 metres red cotton, bit of sewing (or wonderweb ) and a picnic basket.
I was hoping this sort of thing was done and dusted by the time they got to secondary school.

Book Day
My DS is going as Romeo so another suggestion might be Juliet! Easy to do with a long party dress. I also have to go in fancy dress as I work in the same school my DS attends and am going as Rapunzel. Can't wait Hope you find the right outfit and your DD has a fab day
my favourite outfit for Book Week was Red Riding Hood - Roald Dahl style.
Red Power Dressing Suit, briefcase labelled Genuine Pigskin and a fur collar (100% wolf). The most bizarre was probably a Quentin Blake bird..which could be cunningly changed into a pirate for when I had to go off site to the children;s library ..it can be tiring strutting down the high street in long tail and feather boa you know.
PS eyeliner makes a very effective tooth blackener
