So how did it go with your offer

Post by bigrob »

I posted on the Kent forum as many on this forum know I had Beths as my first choice as his brother is there. However DS failed the Bexley test, but passed the Kent test.

Anyway he got in to Wilmington so am over the moon.

Thanks for all the support and good wishes of everyone here.

Congratulations! I'm sure your son will be very happy at Wilmington. All that anxiety and worry - I'm so pleased things have turned out well.

I've always been a huge advocate of finding out results before submitting the CAF. But having seen you and Catsmile and others go through agonies twice in the process - once for results and once for school allocation - I'm not so sure it isn't just as well to get the agony over in one fell swoop!

The Y7 rugby team at Wilmington looked very tidy this year - I bet next year's Y7 team will be even better!!

Thanks. He phoned me at work at 6:50am before the results came through and my mum had been up since 4am waiting for me to call him - horrendous.

You will remember he failed the Bexley test but passed his Black belt at karate in Oct. Well he now only goes to karate occasionally as he has turned in to Billy Elliot !!!

We both loved Strictly Come Dancing so he started Ballroom and Latin dancing at the New Year.

Hoping Catsmile gets her first choice which I think was Beths. edit - just seen Catsmile got her choice - well done.

triplet 1 (boy) passed both bexley and kent 11 plus.

other son and daughter only did Bexley and weren't so lucky.

first choice was Olaves, Beths and then Wilmington.
we are over 5 miles from Beths.....lets see.
