Westfield
Just heard today from Westfield School that they are doing a show round for the children/parents who were allocated this school on Monday 20th April.
We visited it last October but we are going again. You need to phone the school though if you wish to visit.
After the show round there will be questions and answers with the headmistress and deputy head.

Person, I just had a look at their 6th form booklet and here is a link to it (hope it works) Physics bio and chem are all listed as A level choices.

Hi you don't need physics to read medicine - requirements are 2 science including chemistry, lots of people do maths / chem / biol - makes lots more sense as physics is yeeeeuchperson wrote:Ask them why they dont offer 3 sciences, or physics at A level. What if DD/DS wants to be a doctor?
apols to physicists - i don't mean it!!
trouble is of course if they DO actually want to do physics or engineering???

I thought that only schools with a Science specialism had to offer triple science to all children achieving at least a level 6 in Science...
BTW if you click on the 2009-10 prospectus link for Westfield it contains the option of all 3 sciences at A-Level... I'm guessing the physics one is a recent addition.
