Wilson's and Sutton Waiting List

Post by Giulio »

I noticed that the Sutton wl seems to move while the Wilson's doesn't.

Do you know why. Do they manage it in a different way or is it to do with parents preferences?

Maybe Wilson's is just waiting before allocating places while Sutton gives the places as they become available.
or is it that at Wilsons all offers are accepted and at Sutton aren't?

any info or opinion on this?

I don't know why Wilson's waiting list has taken so long to get going. Maybe they initially offered more than the 140 places available knowing that boys would automatically drop out.

Hopefully you will be receiving some good news soon!

for the benefit of future parents on the forum...

the Sutton list seems that moved by 25-30 places in the two month after offer day

Wilson's instead appears to have started to use the wl only in May

Wallington not sure

I know they used to over offer at some of the schools by quite a lot. The current year 11 at Wallington had to put on a whole extra class as they got caught out.
