Successful

I can't really post anything on Etienne's strand as none of the panel nor the school or LA rep asked me any questions.

All I would say is, if there is any slight bit of doubt in your mind as to whether your DC was disturbed during the tests, do ask under the FOI act for a copy of the full invigilation report. We were horrified to find out that our daughter had actually put her hand up to say that she could not concentrate but this had been missed off the invigilation extract provided by the LA for the review in January.

If there has already been a review and you have been unsuccessful, try to speak to some parents who got through at that stage, and see if they produced anything different / in addition to your submission. We discovered that another Primary school was sending in information which ranked appealing children against those who passed the 11+ ( by standardised score) We did not have this at the review. When the exercise was carried out for our DD, she ranked 2nd.

I am very pleased for my DD as she deserved to get through at the last stage.
Good luck to those of you have still to present this time

Many congratulations to you and yours. I rarely venture out of the Trafford forum but I have followed your saga and am so happy that your diligence and doggedness and belief have finally paid off. I hope your daughter is very happy at her new school.
