Many thanks

Hi

I have been using this site for advice on my DS's forthcoming appeal for a place at a grammar school in Glos. However, we have just received a letter offering him a place! I had heard they might still have places but wasn't sure what would happen and the appeals were due to be held at the end of the month. Luckily he must have come to the to of the waiting list hence the offer. We are so grateful to the powers that be and are so relieved.

Thank you to all who offered advice and I wish it were a perfect world where everyone would get the place they wanted for their child.

Kind regards, Kendogirl

I always like it when that happens. I've even know parents be 'phoned up the day before the appeals start and told they've got a place from the waiting list.

Well done.
