Please can someone explain the answers to the following
Non Verbal Reasoning Multiple Choice Paper 11D Section 4 Q5 & 8

Q5 'd' is the only one with a black dot in the narrow bit of the "bean", all the others have white dots

Q8 'd' the arrow points anti clockwise all the others are going clockwise
