There are 20 classrooms with 12 rooms having disable access. What percentage of the rooms have disable access? Please I need help in solving this question.

(12/20)*100 = 60%.

to make this a percentage we need to know how many hundredths this is.

to find equivalent fraction ..

need to multiply 20 by 5 to make it hundredths, so need to multiply top by 5 too

12/20 = 60/100 = 60%
