Admissions Number
Hello,
We went along to the Camphill Boys School Open evening and during the Head's speech, which was excellent, he mentioned that the school admist the first 124 who make the mark. On the boucher I am sure I have read 93 as the number . Am I wrong or has the admisions number changed, is the broucher out of date.?

No the brochure is correct - KECHB admit 93 boys. They make offers to 124 simply because there will always be a number of people who reject the offer in order to go to the independent school - King Edward School.
All schools make a larger number of offers then places available for this reason. They must use some sort of mathematical formula to calculate how many places to offer (based on total places available at the grammar schools and the total number of pupils who pass the exams etc).
