Out of Borough tests

Post by IncaGold »

HI,
We don't live in Bucks but have applied for our son to take the test. His school has agreed to hold the tests there, as there are a few other children also taking the test.

Only problem is, the school hasn't been told when the tests are yet ! :?

Is anyone else facing this problem or has anyone taking the test out of borough been given their dates?

Thanks

It's often at the October Half-term, but I know of one school where they are sitting the test the week before - as basically no-one want to give up a day of their half-term .

When our DC took it in their out of county, out of catchment, non-partner school, the school could choose the dates - as long as they were both done by a certain date. In fact, as there were few children taking it, they let the parents decide!

However that was 2 and 5 years ago, so it may be different now.

Thanks for your replies.

I rang Bucks CC and they say the paperwork is being sent out to the schools this week and next. Then it's up to the school to decide the date.

So hopefully I'll hear next week...
