NFER NVR Paper 11D - help on question
Hallo
Can anyone assist with question 11 in Section 5 of NFER NVR paper 11D. Its the one with vertical lines on what looks like telegraph poles. The answer is d and I cannot see why.
Thanks
Richmond

The change top left to top right is inverted V to X, with poles extending from points of X, 1 black to 3 white...lower right box is 'changed' version of bottom right, and only difference (from top left) is rectangle instead of circle, therefore answer d...didn't realise it could be such a challenge to describe it!!

Do you mean Section 4?
If so - all the other figures apart from d have the same number of little vertical lines crossing the horizontal lines as there are horizontal lines:
a - one horizontal line; one vetical line
b- 3 horizontal lines; each line has 3 vertical lines
c - 2 horizontal lines; 2 vertical lines on each
d - only one horizontal line but 2 vertical lines
e - 4 horizontal lines with 4 vertical lines on each
