Please help a novice idiot!
I decided to make Delia's christmas pudding yesterday without reading the whole recipe first. It wasn't until I got to the end that I realised I'd made a massive pud but don't have a steamer (don't even know what they look like). Can anyone tell me how I can cook this without a steamer please?

Hi Tipsy
You don't need a steamer, just a big saucepan - instructions on what to do here.

No pity....that's what you get for being such a domestic goddess!
I was given a gift of small container of home made plum brandy by the parent of a child who stayed overnight recently. She said "that's for your christmas baking"...
Don't have a clue (or the time).Brandy went down well though
I am not a domestic goddess I am afraid...
