13+ results coming soon

Post by sharone »

We've been told that these are due this coming Friday (12th), but I don't know how/when we will get these. Do they actually arrive on the 12th, or is that when they're posted, or do they go to your child's current school? Our son is expecting them tomorrow, but I don't want him to get too anxious if they don't arrive that day.

Thanks for any info

Hi Sharon

The quoted date is the date of posting, first class, to your home address.

You should hopefully receive them on Saturday morning.

Fingers crossed for you and your son - it has been a long journey for you both.

Best wishes

Thanks Sally-Anne, I'll let him know so he won't get himself worked up. He really has tried hard, and wants to pass, but, there you go... Good luck to everyone else waiting for the post.

Hi Sharone

13+? Have you been trying 11+ and 12+?

If so, I can see us doing this in 2 years time:cry:

Best wishes to you and your son.
Fingers (and everything) crossed for you.

Hi Mum of Boy

Not quite as bad as that. Missed the 11+ and lost our appeal. Didn't enter for the 12+ as he appeared happy at his Upper School, but start of Year 8 was a little shaky and he decided he wanted to try again. We hope he will pass this time, but even if he does, the chances of getting a place are slim. One hurdle at a time though...

Keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed for tomorrow, and for everyone else out there.

Our result arrived today.

Passed! Pity she didn't do that last year ...

Not expecting to get a place, but it's great to know we were right all along. So much for 'better suited to an upper school'.

Dear Jazz

Congratulations! It's nice to hear some good news, but now I'm a little anxious if our results have come. Would you know it, son has just phoned and they are at our house...Stomach is churning so think I will need to leave early...
