King's School, Chester

Post by Suey12 »

I guess it's worth asking if anyone is thinking of turning down a place at King's School, Chester?

Have you ever considered Abbey Gate school in Chester? A friend of mine whose son couldn't get a place at King's sent him there and seems happy.

Funnily enough I was discussing that very school with a friend this morning. I will investigate, thank you.

Not a cheap option unfortunately.

I cannot offer a recommendation for the independent school at Parkgate though.

I agree! I think the junior school is ok, but not the senior school. It's such a shame Birkenhead School had so few places - a very popular school.
