Book Club: First round Poll 2

Post by bromley mum »

This is the list of books for the first round of voting. Please vote for a book, preferably not your own nomination. Polls close midnight Wednesday. The order in which books wil be read and the time frame wil be posted soon after that. There will be a separate thread for each book so you can keep discussing a paticular book for as long as you wish. Please vote in the 3 polls posted.

Hi BM

Wilkie Collins "Woman in White" is on both Polls 1 & 2.

If you find you can't edit it, let me know and I imagine I can probably do it for you.

Oops!!  I knew I should have waited till I had breakfast before posting the polls. Sally-Anne, I can't edit it. Do you think you could do it for me? Thank you so much.

Hi BM

I have deleted the extra option on this thread, but there was one vote recorded for the book, so count that in when you add the totals.

You also forgot to add an expiry date to the polls. I can do that for you if you can remind me what we are doing on that!

Hi Sally-Anne,
Thank you so much for your help (as always). I thought I had put an expiry date. I had put 03 days in the box at the bottom. If i haven't then could you please do that for me? We had agreed (sort of!!) to run the poll till Wed.

Thanks once again and sorry for creating all this extra work for you. Its not like you don't have other things you have to do, especially with the appeal season in full swing.

Can these threads be moved to the top each day so that members who would like to join but were on holiday when the thread began can vote too?

Could the Book Club threads be moved out of 'Everything Else' to their own section?
Having several of them mixed in with all the other threads in this section is a bit confusing if you want to be involved in the Book Club and also makes it harder to keep track of what is going on on the section if you are not interested in the Book Club?

Last day of polling. Make your vote count. There is still time. If you haven't voted and your book is not near the top then your vote may make a difference! If you did not vote because your book is at the top then you need to vote to keep it at the top.
