Independent school fees in lieu
I've just had a letter through from Manchester grammar demanding first term's payments of fees even though my son is not now going to the school. .

Tirlam here is one thread but check out the independent thread because there may be others. Looks like the policy varies from school to school. Let us know how you get on.

The charges are standard practice and not a rip-off, you signed the papers, you agreed to it. Simple as.

Couple of points:
(i) MGS is a great school (top 10 UK) with a better academic record then the school my child is going to.If your going there you can't go wrong.
(ii) Good luck to everyone who are still looking for the right school.
