can anyone advise me when you would ask the papers to be remarked on a 11 plus test .before an appeal, or after . also who do you ask to re mark the papers.
we are in kent

As the papers are marked electronically, there is little point in asking for a remark.

Kent County council will allow you to look at the papers your child completed if you request it.

I applied yesterday to the email address given on the results letter.
This morning I had an email from them asking for my childs details,
and offering a manual re mark

thanks peter , i only thought that some papers were hand marked, and not all done with a computer. would a private school hand mark the papers, or are they all sent to one place

I have read on another post that a computer scored exam paper was
manualy remarked for a child in Maidstone, and found to be faulty.
Apparentely the childs appeal was passed on that basis

hi cindy what paper did you get the info from. i only got a letter advising of school and a waiting list letter
i really think my daughters should be remarked, do you know ho long it would take

My letter came from Kent CC/Maidstone

It shows the mail address as Kent.admissions@kent.gov.uk

Hope this is what you need or you could ring 01622 696565

an update

a response had been given to a dad from the KCC saying that he should have the answer in approx one week, for the manual re mark.........
