NFER tests at primary schools
Hello
My daughter took the NFER tests at school and we got the results a few days ago.
She scored non verbal reasoning 129
and verbal reasoning 131
Her teacher said that this was a good score, but I heard from other mums that they can score 140 plus.
Can someone advise me regarding the scores.
Thank you in advance.

Re: NFER tests at primary schools
these are very good scores. At my dd's school the head used to be confident in a childs ability to take the 11 plus if they scored 115 and above, !40 is the top score and even though it is common in some 11 plus areas i dont know really how common it is in the NFER's at primary. dd1 scored 136 on verbal one year and the teacher thought this was great - top score in the class for verbal that year.
you havnt said what year your dd is in?

Re: NFER tests at primary schools
The scores are often skewed in primary school if the child has already been studying for the 11+.
