No of children taking 11 plus?

Post by Rugbymum »

Does anyone know roughly how many children are taking the 11 plus in Eastern Warks - I am wondering if it was similar to 2008?

A significant increase from 780 in 2008 then...looks like there was a millenium baby boom in East Warks after all. I have emailed admissions and will let you know when I hear from them.

Sorry Rugbymum, is the last figure the number of places for each area?

Thanks for getting the info.

No, there are some children who are applying for both South and East grammar schools.

Silly me

Do you (or anyone else) know how these numbers compare to previous years?

I don't know about last year but the East Warks figure is similar to 2008. If you want more information, contact admissions - I have always found them to be helpful :D

we used the warwickshire exam for acclimatisation purposes; a helpful tip from my DS teacher before our main exam for the KECH this november, there were a few entrants like this. So the numbers were skewed again. Who knows if DS manages a pass. Good luck to all for march results.
