Quick Conversion Charts

Post by JaysDarlin »

Does anyone else utilise the Quick Conversion Charts at the back of the Walsh books? It gives you a quick guide on calculating your child's score as a percentage.

As this chart is based on a score out of 80, it cant be used for the majority opf NVR tests, which are out of 60. So I made another one for NVR. Also, scores out of 50 (IPS) and 85 (GL Assessment/NFER)

Anyone interested, let me know.

Hi Jaysdarlin,

I was also keen to find out ds's score as a percentage when he did the NVR papers and moaned to ds that there wasn't a conversion chart on any of the NVR books to get this, he then casually said all I needed to do was divide his score by the total number of questions and that will give me his %

After marking the question paper with DD I made it my DD's task to work out the percentage as a final bit of 11+ preparation for the session.
